Michael Willemse

Michael Willemse works on the firm’s international equity strategies team. Michael has over 15 years of experience in the financial markets.

Prior to joining Gluskin Sheff in 2020, he worked at Taylor Asset Management where he was a Senior Research Analyst covering global equities. Previously, he was an Equity Research Analyst at CIBC Capital Markets covering the industrials sector.

Prior to entering the investment industry, Michael spent most of his time in the agricultural sector and on his family farm in South Western Ontario. He enjoys playing hockey, skiing and spending time outdoors with his family in his spare time.

Investment professionals can add value for clients by spending the necessary time to evaluate and invest in undervalued, contrarian companies well before mainstream investors recognize the company’s true valuation.
